Event / Special Event Station Description

KARS, in partnership with the New Jersey Knights of Columbus Amateur Radio Club (NJKCARC, Link) will be conducting a COLUMBUS DAY Special Event Station (SES) from October 10 at 0000Z to October 12 at 2359Z in celebration of Christopher Columbus’s arrival in the Americas. For this SES, KARS Club members will be using the Club Callsign KC2US, and NJKCARC Club members will be using their Club Callsign NJ2KC. See if you can contact both callsigns during this special event!

Month of May
KARS will be operating Special Event Station (SES) “KC2US” in celebration of the Annual State Conventions of several State Councils of the Knights of Columbus. The KC2US SES will be active throughout the month of May with additional details to follow.
Additionally, the New Jersey Knights of Columbus Amateur Radio Club (NJKCARC) will be operating Special Event Station (SES) “NJ2KC” in celebration of the 130th Annual State Convention of the New Jersey State Council Knights of Columbus.
The NJ2KC SES will be active from May 8 through May 18. However, if you are in the Wildwood, New Jersey area on May 15 or 16, stop by the Wildwood Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, New Jersey, to visit the Club President and Club members who will be operating from the Convention Center on those two days. Further details to follow.
