Join the Knights Amateur Radio Society (KARS)!

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE KNIGHTS AMATEUR RADIO SOCIETY TODAY! Even if you do not have your FCC-issued Amateur Radio (Ham) License yet, as long as you are a member of the Knights of Columbus, you are eligible to join! Becoming a Member of KARS combines your interest in Amateur Radio with the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization!

Here is a list of Membership Types, eligibility, and calendar year dues:

Full Member: KofC Member AND Actively Licensed Amateur Radio Operator ($25 US/calendar year)
Associate Member: KofC Member and NOT presently a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator ($20 US/calendar year)
Honorary Member: Reserved for Priests and Deacons, current State Deputies, and current State General Program Directors Only ($0/year)
Life Member: Optionally available to Members joining prior to December 31, 2026 ($125 US, one-time payment)

Note: New Full and Associate Members applying on or after October 1 will be assessed the yearly rate for 2026, and that one payment will also cover your dues for all of 2027.

Meetings are held via Zoom on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 08:00 pm (Eastern). Zoom access links are emailed to each member.
